Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care including assessment, monitoring, and treatment of patients in the medical and surgical ward.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs, progress, and overall condition, and report any changes to the medical team.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Assist patients with daily living activities, mobility, and post-operative care.
• Prepare patients for medical procedures, surgeries, and diagnostic tests.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress.
• Ensure compliance with infection control policies, safety standards, and hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to implement patient care plans.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment, recovery, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive patient care environment.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Medical and Surgical Ward in a hospital setting.
• Valid nursing license from home country.
• Eligibility for nursing license in Dubai (DHA eligibility, license, or willingness to obtain).
• Strong clinical knowledge and patient care skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in accredited or tertiary care hospitals is an advantage.
