We are seeking an experienced anaesthesia specialist with DHA (Dubai Health Authority) licensing to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for administering anaesthesia and monitoring patients before, during, and after surgical procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.

As an anaesthesia specialist, you will assess patients' medical histories and conditions to develop appropriate anaesthesia plans, manage pain control, and monitor vital signs in the perioperative setting. Your expertise will be vital in providing high-quality care in both elective and emergency surgical situations.

Key responsibilities

Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments of patients to identify anaesthesia-related risks and develop individualized anaesthesia plans.

Administer various types of anaesthesia, including general, regional, and local anaesthetic agents.

Monitor patients' vital signs and anaesthetic depth throughout surgical procedures to ensure optimal safety.

Manage post-operative recovery, addressing any complications related to anaesthesia.

Work collaboratively with surgical teams to optimize patient care and contribute to positive surgical outcomes.

Educate patients and their families about anaesthesia procedures, risks, and post-operative care.

Maintain compliance with DHA regulations and uphold the highest standards of medical practice.

Requirements

Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.

Completion of residency training in anaesthesiology.

Valid DHA licence to practice as an anaesthesia specialist.

A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in anaesthesia.

Proficient in administering various anaesthetic techniques and managing complications.

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interactions and teamwork.

Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to best practices.

Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
