Qualifications And Experience

Doctoral degree in Nursing (PhD) with a specialization in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from a well-reputed university

Demonstrated clinical expertise in psychiatric and mental health nursing practice

Record of, or potential for, scholarly contributions (publications, research funding, presentations)

Graduate of accredited universities that use the credit hour system, with English as the medium of instruction

Minimum of two (2) years of teaching experience

Experience in supervising student projects and thesis dissertations

Proficient use of educational technologies (presentations, e-learning systems, and academic reporting tools)

Preference will be given to candidates with strong research output and relevant industry or clinical experience in mental health care

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Develop and deliver courses in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, in alignment with the University’s three core standards: Teaching, Research, and Service

Evaluate and monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to support student success

Research, organize, and manage instructional resources, course outlines, and community networks

Identify and apply effective teaching methods, procedures, and resources to achieve course objectives

Support and actively participate in accreditation and quality assurance initiatives

Perform other job-related duties as assigned
