We are seeking a compassionate and skilled cardiothoracic surgeon to join our renowned healthcare team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and surgically treating patients with complex cardiovascular and thoracic disorders. Key responsibilities
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients requiring cardiothoracic surgical intervention and develop tailored treatment plans.
Perform a variety of complex surgical procedures, such as heart bypass surgeries, valve replacements, and lung resections, with a focus on patient safety and outcomes.
Utilize minimally invasive surgical techniques whenever possible to enhance recovery and reduce hospital stays.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to patient care.
Monitor patient progress before, during, and after surgery, addressing any conditions or complications that may arise.
Engage in ongoing research and clinical trials to contribute to advancements in the field of cardiothoracic surgery.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
Completion of a general surgery residency followed by a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship.
Board certification in cardiothoracic surgery preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant clinical experience in cardiothoracic surgery.
Proficiency in a wide range of surgical techniques, including advanced and minimally invasive approaches.
Strong understanding of the anatomy and physiology associated with heart and thoracic disorders.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
Able to make quick, informed decisions in high-stress environments.
Commitment to continuous education and staying up-to-date with advancements in surgical practices.
Valid state medical license to practice medicine.
