What you do
You work in the division Health & Benefits Claims Germany. We deal with processing of demanding health insurance cases in Germany and abroad. With a great deal of interest in medical matters in contact with customers, we enable professional processing. From the initial correspondence to the conclusion, including the examination of recourse options. We work in a specialized team and use a global network of providers, doctors and other experts.
Your key responsibilities:
Examination of insurance cover including pre-claims and premium check
Examination of entitlement to benefits in accordance with the terms and conditions of insurance
Assessment of medical facts and diagnoses
Settlement and payment of the service entitlement to our customers
Written correspondence with our customers
Conducting customer-oriented telephone calls
Examination and assessment of recourse claims
Assumption of special tasks (by arrangement), e.g. examination and assessment of emergency call damage within the framework of an interface to the emergency call centre
Collaboration within the team and across other departments
What you bring:
Completed training as a social security clerk, health care clerk, medical assistant or comparable training
Experience in the use of MS Office and other IT systems
Very good knowledge of German language (C1) as well as good written and spoken English skills
Strong customer orientation
High motivation and willingness to learn
Communication and teamwork skills
Please note that the working schedule will be from Monday to Friday, standard working hours.
