Roles And Responsibilities
1- Patient Reception & Clinical Duties
Taking vital signs
Preparing the patient for the doctor's examination
Dispensing medications as prescribed by the doctor, including authorized over-the-counter medications
Referring patients to external clinics in the doctor's absence
Providing first aid to patients as needed
Coordinating with the transportation department for patient emergencies
Changing simple wound dressings
Administering nebulizer treatments to asthma patients as directed by the doctor
Performing ECGs as requested by a doctor
Performing blood glucose tests as ordered by a doctor
Administering injections upon doctor's approval
2- Administrative & Operational Duties
Conducting medication inventories to monitor stock levels and expiry dates.
Managing clinic supply orders, including submission and receipt.
Performing periodic inspections of medical devices and equipment.
Managing periodic and pre-employment medical checkups.
Processing sick leave documentation and employee return-to-work declarations.
Adhering to the company's procurement systems for supplies.
Accurately recording information for all medical tests and disbursed supplies.
3- Professional Standards & Compliance
Triaging patients based on the severity and position in queue.
Adhering to all health, safety, infection control, and drug allergy regulations.
Maintaining professional hygiene and appearance, including adherence to the nurse's dress code.
Prioritizing patient satisfaction.
Verifying medication expiry dates prior to dispensing.
Ensuring the clinic environment is clean, quiet, safe, and conducive to an efficient workflow.
Not leaving the clinic except when necessary and for the shortest possible time.
Comply with Health, Safety and Environment regulations and working practices of KDD and the State of Kuwait when carrying out duties.
Required Education
Bachelor's degree in nursing.
MOH Kuwait Nursing License.
Required Professional Skills
Proficiency in English and Arabic is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in nursing.
Valid MOH Kuwait Nursing License.
Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical records systems.
