About This Role

Your new role:

In this role, you will provide advanced clinical leadership and drive innovation in surgical care pathways, improving patient outcomes and system performance.

Lead and coordinate the implementation of Day Surgery by Default and Criteria Led Discharge models across Surgical Services

Provide expert clinical consultancy, supporting multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care

Drive data-informed clinical redesign, stakeholder engagement and change management initiatives to optimise surgical flow

Collaborate across facilities to embed consistent care pathways and improve patient experience and service delivery

About You

You are an experienced and forward-thinking clinical leader who brings advanced nursing expertise and a passion for service improvement.

Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and leadership in surgical or perioperative nursing practice

Proven ability to lead change, influence stakeholders and implement evidence-based models of care

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data to drive service improvement

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and build capability in others
