Our client, a rapidly expanding organization specializing in clinical research, is seeking a Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator to join their team in Montreal (Saint-Laurent).
In this role, you will play a key part in the site's expansion and contribute directly to the implementation and success of new clinical studies in evolving fields, particularly in respiratory and metabolic health. Roles and Responsibilities
Patient Management: Recruit, coordinate, and provide follow-up for patients involved in clinical studies.
Visit Oversight: Manage all patient visits, from initial scheduling to follow-up care.
Clinical Procedures: Perform procedures according to protocols, including:
Blood sampling
Electrocardiograms (ECG)
Respiratory function tests (spirometry, DLCO)
Treatment administration
Lab Logistics: Ensure the processing and shipping of biological samples.
Documentation: Complete data entry and regulatory documentation while maintaining rigorous, compliant study files.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
Operations: Participate in operational coordination (emails, supplies, logistics).
Requirements
Education
Diploma in Nursing (DEC or Bachelor’s degree).
Valid license from the OIIQ (Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec).
Training or certification in clinical research (an asset).
Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification (an asset).
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical research, ideally in a coordination role.
Experience managing and following up with patients within clinical trials.
Hands-on experience with clinical procedures (blood draws, ECGs, respiratory tests, etc.).
Experience with data entry and regulatory documentation management.
Strong understanding of regulatory and ethical standards (GCP, Health Canada, etc.).
Skills and Qualities
High level of professional standards and nursing competence.
Excellent clinical judgment and analytical skills.
Strong ability to manage priorities and work autonomously.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
Proficiency with IT tools.
Bilingualism (French/English) is considered an asset.
