Key responsibilities:
Conduct thorough clinical evaluations and consultations for patients with cardiovascular health concerns.
Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests such as ECGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
Diagnose and develop treatment plans for conditions including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and other cardiovascular disorders.
Perform cardiac procedures, as needed, in collaboration with other specialists to provide comprehensive care.
Educate patients and their families on heart health, treatment options, and preventive measures.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment plans in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Participate in clinical research, professional education, and training activities to stay current in the field.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and improve health outcomes.
Requirements
Medical degree (MD or equivalent) and board certification in cardiology.
Completion of a residency in internal medicine followed by a fellowship in cardiology.
Proven experience as a consultant cardiologist with a track record of successful patient outcomes.
Expertise in performing and interpreting cardiovascular diagnostic tests and procedures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and healthcare professionals.
Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
Ability to manage a demanding patient caseload with a focus on high-quality care.
Commitment to ongoing education and professional development in cardiology.
Empathy and a patient-centered approach to care.
Active involvement in clinical research and willingness to contribute to educational initiatives is a plus.
