Key responsibilities:

Conduct thorough evaluations of patients presenting with gastrointestinal concerns.

Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including endoscopy and colonoscopy.

Diagnose and manage chronic gastrointestinal diseases, including IBD and liver disorders.

Develop comprehensive management plans tailored to the individual needs of patients.

Collaborate with surgeons, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.

Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.

Participate actively in academic discussions, research initiatives, and quality improvement projects.

Mentor medical students and residents in the field of gastroenterology.

Requirements:

Medical degree with board certification in gastroenterology.

Current and active medical license applicable to the working state.

Extensive experience in the full spectrum of gastrointestinal disorders.

Expertise in performing endoscopic procedures with a strong emphasis on patient safety.

Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills, with a focus on evidence-based medicine.
