As a Consultant Hand Surgeon in a government healthcare facility, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of hand and upper extremity disorders, including traumatic injuries, degenerative diseases, and congenital issues. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive treatment plans and deliver exceptional surgical care while adhering to healthcare guidelines and standards.

Key responsibilities:

Evaluate and diagnose patients with hand and upper extremity conditions.

Develop individualized treatment plans encompassing both surgical and non-surgical interventions.

Perform advanced surgical procedures to restore function and alleviate pain.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.

Participate in community outreach programs and educate patients and families regarding hand health and rehabilitation.

Requirements

Completion of a residency in orthopedic surgery and fellowship training in hand surgery.

Proven experience in diagnosing and treating a variety of hand and upper extremity conditions.

Proficient in performing complex hand surgical procedures.
