SearchPlus HR, a leading human resources consulting firm specializing in the healthcare sector, is currently seeking a qualified Consultant Obstetrics & Gynecologist to join a reputable government healthcare facility. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality medical care to women in a community-focused environment.
As a Consultant Obstetrics & Gynecologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of obstetric and gynecological conditions. Your role will also involve working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and accessible women's health services, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage obstetric and gynecological conditions while ensuring adherence to established clinical guidelines
Provide prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal care, including overseeing labor and delivery
Perform gynecological procedures and surgeries, including minimally invasive options
Conduct routine examinations, health screenings, and preventive care assessments
Educate patients about reproductive health, family planning, and wellness strategies
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care
Participate in community health initiatives and public health programs to promote women's health
Stay informed about the latest advancements in obstetrics and gynecology to enhance clinical practices
Requirements
Demonstrated experience in providing obstetric and gynecological care within a healthcare setting
Expertise in performing a variety of obstetric and gynecological surgeries
Strong knowledge of maternal and fetal care practices
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Empathy and a patient-centered approach to care delivery
Strong organizational skills and capacity to handle multiple responsibilities
Able to work collaboratively and independently, demonstrating flexibility in a dynamic environment
Commitment to public health and community outreach initiatives to improve women's health
