Description

We are looking for a skilled consultant obstetrician gynecologist who will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to women throughout their reproductive journey. In this role, you will manage pregnancy, perform deliveries, and offer gynecological services, ensuring the highest standards of health and well-being for your patients.

Main responsibilities

Provide thorough prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal care to pregnant patients.

Carry out and oversee deliveries, including both normal and cesarean sections, with a focus on safety and care.

Diagnose and treat a variety of gynecological conditions, employing both surgical and non-surgical treatment methods as needed.

Perform routine gynecological exams and screenings, including pap smears and mammograms.

Educate patients about reproductive health, family planning, and preventive healthcare practices.

Collaborate with healthcare teams to create and implement individualized patient care plans.

Stay current with best practices and advancements in obstetrics and gynecology through continuous education.

Maintain accurate medical records and documentation as per regulations.

Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.

Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology.

Active medical license in the relevant jurisdiction.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology, ideally in a consultant capacity.

Proficient in managing high-risk pregnancies and performing diverse surgical procedures.

Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

A commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous professional development.

Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
