Key responsibilities
Perform thorough examinations and diagnostic tests to assess the visual health of patients.
Diagnose and manage a wide range of eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy.
Conduct surgical interventions such as cataract surgery, refractive surgery, and other specialized procedures.
Develop personalized treatment plans and discuss options with patients and their families.
Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care to ensure recovery and treatment efficacy.
Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
Document medical information accurately and uphold compliance with health regulations.
Engage in continuous education to remain informed of advancements in ophthalmology.
Requirements
Medical degree and specialization in ophthalmology.
Current medical license to practice ophthalmology.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a consultant ophthalmologist role.
Proficient in performing a variety of ophthalmic surgical procedures.
Strong analytical and diagnostic abilities in identifying eye-related conditions.
Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and collaboration with colleagues.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities.
Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is advantageous.
