Key responsibilities

Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess visual health and diagnose conditions accurately.

Develop and implement customized treatment plans for patients based on individual assessments.

Perform advanced surgical procedures, including cataract surgery, corneal transplants, and LASIK.

Manage pre-operative and post-operative care to ensure optimal patient recovery and satisfaction.

Educate patients and their families on treatment options, prevention, and ongoing eye care.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and holistic patient care.

Maintain comprehensive and accurate medical records in line with compliance standards.

Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay abreast of the latest advancements in ophthalmology.

Requirements

Medical degree with specialization in ophthalmology.

A current, valid medical license to practice ophthalmology.

At least 5 years of experience in a consultant ophthalmologist role.

Proven surgical proficiency in performing various ophthalmic procedures.

Strong diagnostic skills and ability to manage complex eye conditions.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, fostering patient relationships.

Team-oriented mindset with the capability to work collaboratively.

Detail-oriented with effective organizational skills.

Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
