Role overview

Position: Consultant/specialist orthodontist

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Facility type: Private/multispecialty/advanced dental & medical center

Experience required: Minimum 3+ years post specialist/board certification

Clinical focus: Comprehensive orthodontic care including fixed, removable, and clear aligner systems

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality orthodontic treatment, working alongside general dentists, oral surgeons, and prosthodontists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

We welcome applications from internationally trained orthodontists with recognised qualifications such as:

American Board of Orthodontics (ABO)

UK CCT / MOrth (RCS)

European Board Certification

Royal College Certification (Canada)

Australian Fellowship

Arab Board

MDS / FCPS / equivalent recognised specialist qualification

Candidates should be eligible for Dubai Health Authority (DHA) / Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DOH) license conversion (full guidance provided).

Key responsibilities

Diagnose and develop comprehensive orthodontic treatment plans

Perform and manage fixed appliances, clear aligners (e.g., Invisalign), lingual orthodontics, and interceptive treatments

Monitor treatment progress and adjust appliances for optimal results

Manage complex malocclusions, bite correction, and facial growth modifications

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for full-mouth rehabilitation cases

Ensure high standards of patient communication, case documentation, and treatment outcomes

Contribute to clinical audits, quality assurance, and patient safety initiatives

Maintain compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and international best practices
