Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments through clinical evaluations and diagnostic imaging to develop sound treatment plans.
Perform a variety of orthopedic surgeries, including joint replacements, trauma repairs, and arthroscopic procedures while ensuring the utmost patient safety.
Manage preoperative and postoperative care to facilitate optimal recovery and rehabilitation outcomes.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care and encourage a team-oriented approach.
Educate patients and their families about orthopedic conditions, treatment options, and rehabilitation processes.
Engage in continuing medical education and stay updated on advancements in orthopedic surgery.
Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
Requirements
Medical degree (M.D. or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
Completion of an accredited residency in orthopaedic surgery.
Board certification in orthopaedic surgery is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in orthopedic surgery, including consultant experience.
Expert knowledge of musculoskeletal disorders and extensive experience in various surgical procedures.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Commitment to quality patient care and collaborative practice.
Fluency in English; additional language skills are an asset.
