This vacancy for the position of "strong>CONSULTANT PEDIATRIC HEMATOLOGY ONCOLOGY" is currently open for one of the most reputed strong>Saudi Arabian Government HealthCare Medical Cities in Madinah, Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Al-Ahsa, Al-Qassim & TAIF under the Government Of Saudi Arabia.

strong>Work Experience & Main areas of responsibility:

Independently provide direct patient care in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. (ward rounds, clinics, On-calls).

Independently provide consultations to other specialties in the hospital.

Perform Bone marrow aspirates , biopsies and other related procedures.

Prescribe and administer medications (chemotherapeutic agents).

Participate in the department I division administrative meetings.

Participate in the department/ division educational meetings Journal club, tumor board, lectures, etc.)

Participate in the department/ division research activities.

Participate in the hospital / department committees upon request.

To supervise the sub consultant physicians.

Participate in training and education of rotating residents and junior staff members.

Perform and cover other duties as delegated by the chairman or division head.

Adhere strictly to all hospital policies and procedures. Performs other job related duties as assigned.

strong>English Language Skills: Essential Level I

strong>Arabic Language Skills: Added Advantage

strong>Computer Skills (Level): Preferred/Basic Level I

Desired Candidate Profile

The educational requirements include a basic medical degree recognized by the Saudi Medical Council (e.g. MBBS) and postgraduate qualification/board certified.

. strong>Medical Degree: MBBS or equivalent from a recognized medical school.

. strong>Specialization in Pediatrics: MD or DNB in Pediatrics.

. strong>Sub-specialty Fellowship/Certification:

-strong>India: FNB (Fellowship of National Board) or DM in Pediatric Hemato-Oncology.

-strong>US/Canada: 3 years of accredited fellowship training in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology.

-strong>International: Saudi/American/European Board Certification or equivalent.

. strong>Licensure: Valid permanent registration with the state medical council or equivalent licensing body.
