Position Overview A leading healthcare provider in Dubai is seeking an experienced Consultant in Adult Psychiatry with a special interest or expertise in Perinatal Psychiatry, alongside general adult psychiatry. This role offers the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, evidence-based mental health care to a diverse patient population.

The successful candidate will play a key role in clinical service delivery, service development, and maintaining international standards of psychiatric care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of adult psychiatric disorders

Deliver specialised psychiatric care for perinatal mental health, including pregnancy and postnatal conditions

Manage a varied caseload across outpatient and/or inpatient settings

Work collaboratively with psychologists, nurses, obstetricians, and other healthcare professionals

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices

Offer clinical leadership, supervision, and guidance to junior medical staff where required

Participate in service development, quality improvement, and clinical governance activities

Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in line with regulatory requirements

Engage in continuous professional development and adhere to ethical and professional standards
