Job Summary We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Dermatologist to join a leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi or Al Ain. The role involves delivering comprehensive medical and procedural dermatology services, with exposure to a broad range of adult and paediatric dermatological conditions in a modern, well-equipped clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities

Provide expert diagnosis and management of general, medical, and complex dermatological conditions

Manage acute and chronic skin diseases, including inflammatory, infectious, autoimmune, and pigmentary disorders

Perform dermatological procedures such as skin biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and electrosurgery

Diagnose and manage skin cancers and pre-malignant lesions

Provide dermatological consultations for inpatient and outpatient services

Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in line with regulatory standards

Subspecialty & Service Development (if applicable)

Deliver aesthetic dermatology, laser treatments, or dermatosurgery services (if trained)

Contribute to service development and expansion of dermatology offerings

Work collaboratively with plastic surgery, oncology, rheumatology, and primary care teams

Quality, Governance & Education

Ensure adherence to clinical governance, patient safety, and infection control standards

Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and continuing medical education

Support teaching and mentoring of junior medical staff as required

Desired Candidate Profile

Essential Requirements

Medical degree from a recognized institution

Board certification or specialist qualification in Dermatology

Minimum 5 years of post-specialist consultant-level experience (training pathway dependent)

Eligibility for licensure with DOH (Abu Dhabi Department of Health)

Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)

Preferred Experience

Experience in cosmetic / aesthetic dermatology and laser procedures

Experience in dermatologic surgery or Mohs surgery (if applicable)

International training or experience (UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or equivalent)

Experience working in a high-volume outpatient setting
