Key responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose oral and maxillofacial conditions.
Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient requirements.
Perform advanced surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times.
Oversee patient care throughout the surgical process, including pre-operative and post-operative management.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care for patients.
Guide and educate patients and their families about treatment options and postoperative care.
Maintain detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements
Medical qualifications (MBBS or equivalent) with specialization in oral & maxillofacial surgery.
Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) in the UK.
Completion of an accredited residency or training program in oral & maxillofacial surgery.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant clinical experience.
Proficient in various oral and maxillofacial surgical techniques.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and team members.
A commitment to ongoing education and staying current with advancements in the field.
