Roles & Responsibilities
Patient Care & Preparation: Review patient history, explain procedures, and apply electrodes to the scalp with appropriate impedance levels.
Procedure Performance: Conduct routine, portable, and long-term monitoring (LTM) EEGs while monitoring for patient discomfort or clinical seizures.
Data Analysis & Recording: Identify and annotate EEG abnormalities, clinical events, and artifacts during recording.
Technical Support: Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain EEG machines and related equipment.
Documentation: Maintain precise patient records, create technical reports, and upload data to the Neurophysiology Information
Desired Candidate Profile
Educational Qualification:
Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Neurophysiology, Medical Technology, or related field
Certification in EEG technology (preferred)
Experience:
1–3 years of experience in EEG procedures (freshers with internship exposure may also be considered)
Experience in handling routine and specialized EEG recordings in a clinical/hospital setup
Technical Skills:
Proficient in performing EEG tests, including routine, sleep-deprived, and ambulatory EEGs
Knowledge of electrode placement as per the International 10–20 system
Ability to operate EEG machines and related software
Basic understanding of neurological conditions such as epilepsy, seizures, and brain disorders
Experience in assisting neurologists during diagnostic procedures
