About the job
you will be working as part of a Specialist Team providing expert nursing/midwifery practice and cost-effective service to patients requiring routine and emergency care. To work primarily, but not exclusively, in the resuscitation area to provide, develop and coordinate high quality care to patients attending with emergency and trauma care needs. As a senior nurse or paramedic, you will hold expert clinical skills in patient assessment, recognition of the deteriorating patient, effective escalation and/or handover as well as initial patient management of acute illness and trauma. As a senior member of the nursing team you will participate in and support wider team professional development and work with the wide range of clinicians and teams within the clinical setting.
