Primary responsibilities

Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with varying levels of medical emergencies

Rapidly diagnose and treat life-threatening conditions

Perform necessary procedures and interventions to stabilize patients

Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals

Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes in accordance with protocols

Engage in continuous education and departmental quality improvement initiatives

Guide patients and their families on follow-up care and emergency procedures

Requirements

Qualifications:

M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical institution

Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Emergency Medicine

Board certification in Emergency Medicine or eligibility

Active medical license in the relevant state

Prior experience in an emergency setting preferred

Strong clinical judgment and ability to work under pressure

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Commitment to patient-centered care and ongoing professional development
