Roles & Responsibilities

Rapidly assess and triage patients in critical condition, ensuring timely interventions in high-pressure scenarios.

Administer life-saving medications and treatments as per established protocols, maintaining vigilance for any adverse reactions.

Monitor vital signs and clinical changes in patients, utilizing advanced monitoring equipment to detect deterioration early.

Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, paramedics, and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Provide emotional support and education to patients and families, helping them understand treatment processes and outcomes.

Document patient care accurately in electronic health records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Participate in emergency response drills and training sessions to enhance skills and preparedness for real-life situations.

Implement infection control measures rigorously to safeguard patients and staff within the emergency department.

Assist in the management of emergency department flow, optimizing patient intake and reducing wait times.

Engage in continuous professional development, staying updated on the latest practices and advancements in emergency medicine.

Desired Candidate Profile

Strong technical skills in using medical equipment, including defibrillators and ventilators, are necessary.

Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus, especially Spanish or Arabic.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.

Demonstrated ability to remain calm and make critical decisions under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform procedures and assist with lifting patients when necessary.

A compassionate demeanor and strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their families.
