Responsibilities
Conduct thorough examinations and analyses of tissue and fluid samples to diagnose medical conditions accurately.
Collaborate with clinical teams to provide insights that inform patient treatment plans and enhance care quality.
Stay abreast of technological advancements and best practices in pathology to ensure the highest standards of laboratory performance.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of laboratory findings and reporting, complying with all regulatory requirements.
Participate in quality assurance and laboratory accreditation efforts to uphold diagnostic integrity.
Mentor and train junior staff and pathology interns on laboratory procedures and best practices.
Requirements
Medical degree from an accredited institution with specialization in pathology.
Board certification in pathology is a significant advantage.
Valid medical license to practice in the UAE.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in diagnostic pathology, with expertise in both anatomic and clinical pathology.
Proven knowledge of laboratory operations, quality control measures, and relevant regulatory standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within a healthcare team.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in diagnosing and interpreting laboratory results.
