Roles & Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to patients in their homes according to their care plans.

Administer prescribed medications and treatments (oral, IV, IM, etc.).

Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.

Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility.

Manage wound care, dressing changes, and catheter care.

Support patients recovering from surgery, illness, or chronic conditions.

Regularly assess patients physical and mental health conditions.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date nursing notes, charts, and reports.

Report changes in the patients condition to physicians or healthcare supervisors promptly.

Use digital or manual systems to record patient progress and treatment effectiveness.

Educate patients and families about disease management, medication use, and self-care practices.

Provide guidance on nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle changes.

Offer emotional support and counseling to patients and family members.

Coordinate care with doctors, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals.

Communicate effectively with family members and caregivers.

Participate in care planning and follow-up visits.

Follow hygiene and infection control protocols in home settings.

Ensure safe use of medical equipment and supplies.

Educate families on infection prevention and home safety practices.

Recognize and respond quickly to medical emergencies (e.g., cardiac arrest, respiratory distress).

Administer first aid or basic life support (BLS) as needed.

Arrange for emergency medical services when required.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification: Bsc Nursing/ GNM with 2 years of experience
