Role Description
The Footcare Nurse is an , on-site role located in Guelph, ON. The role involves providing routine and preventative foot care services, such as nail trimming, callus and corn reduction, and treatments for common foot conditions. Additional responsibilities include educating clients on proper foot health practices, collaborating with Pedorthists to create comprehensive care plans, and maintaining accurate documentation of client visits and treatments. The Footcare Nurse plays a key role in ensuring an exceptional patient care experience by addressing each individual’s specific foot care needs in a professional and compassionate manner.
Qualifications
Certification or qualifications as a licensed Footcare Nurse (or equivalent), with experience in providing preventative and routine foot care services.
Knowledge of common foot conditions and treatments, as well as the ability to educate clients on foot health and self-care practices.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills to provide a supportive and professional experience for clients.
Attention to detail and proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including Pedorthists, to offer comprehensive care solutions.
Experience in using medical tools and equipment applicable to foot care services is an asset.
