Roles & Responsibilities

A leading hospital in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a highly skilled Specialist or Consultant Gastroenterologist to join its endoscopy and digestive disease unit.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders

Perform upper and lower GI endoscopy procedures

Conduct colonoscopy screening and therapeutic interventions

Manage IBD, liver disease, pancreatitis, and functional GI disorders

Perform advanced procedures such as ERCP and EUS (if credentialed)

Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions

Maintain accurate procedural documentation and quality metrics

Desired Candidate Profile

Specialist or Consultant qualification in Gastroenterology

Valid MOH license or eligibility

Strong procedural case volume

ERCP and/or EUS capability highly preferred

Minimum 4 6 years post-specialist experience
