Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Perform elective and emergency general surgical procedures

Conduct laparoscopic surgeries (appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repair, etc.)

Manage trauma and acute abdominal emergencies

Provide pre-operative evaluation and post-operative follow-up

Participate in surgical on-call rotations

Supervise junior surgical staff (Consultant level)

Contribute to clinical governance and quality improvement programs

Desired Candidate Profile

Recognized Specialist or Consultant qualification in General Surgery

Valid MOH license or eligibility

Strong laparoscopic case log

Minimum 4 6 years post-specialist experience

Leadership experience preferred for Consultant level
