Roles & Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the NICU, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards of care for critically ill newborns.
Lead and mentor a team of nurses and support staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment that promotes professional growth.
Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and workflows specific to the NICU, ensuring they align with best practices and regulatory requirements.
Manage the NICU budget, including resource allocation, staffing, and equipment procurement, while optimizing cost-effectiveness.
Act as a liaison between the NICU team, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
Monitor patient outcomes and quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices.
Desired Candidate Profile
· Bachelors in Nursing or Masters in Nursing
· Registered Nurse at a Licensing Authority
· Minimum 7 years in nursing practice and 2 years in a supervisory role
· Ability to plan and prioritize
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Good collaboration, communication and teamwork skills
