We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Consultant DHA to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert consultation in the field of internal medicine, guiding patients through diagnosis, treatment, and management of various medical conditions.

Key responsibilities

Provide expert consultations for patients with complex medical conditions in internal medicine.

Develop and oversee treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective patient care.

Participate in case discussions and provide insights on best practices in medical management.

Educate patients on their conditions and treatment options, ensuring informed consent and understanding.

Engage in research and development of clinical guidelines in accordance with DHA standards.

Stay current with developments in the field and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintain thorough documentation of consultations and patient progress in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

Board certification in internal medicine and DHA approval as a consultant.

A valid medical license to practice in the appropriate jurisdiction.

5+ years of experience in internal medicine with a focus on consultation preferred.

Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and healthcare teams.

Ability to provide mentorship to junior medical staff.

Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.

Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is advantageous.
