Role overview
As a Junior Specialist, you will assist in diagnosing and treating a variety of oral and maxillofacial issues. Your responsibilities will include participating in surgical procedures, conducting patient assessments, and providing support in both pre-operative and post-operative environments. This role will be integral in helping you develop your surgical skills and clinical knowledge in a collaborative and supportive setting.
Key responsibilities:
Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients with oral and maxillofacial conditions.
Participate in various surgical procedures, under the guidance of senior surgeons.
Conduct thorough patient assessments and maintain detailed medical records.
Provide compassionate pre-operative education and post-operative care for patients.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement individualized patient care plans.
Stay current with industry best practices and advancements in the field.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited institution.
Completion of a residency or internship program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is preferred.
Demonstrated passion for oral and maxillofacial surgery and commitment to professional development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and staff.
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
A collaborative mindset with a desire to learn from experienced professionals.
