Responsibilities

Conduct initial psychiatric assessments and gather patient histories to inform treatment plans

Assist in the delivery of therapeutic interventions, both individually and in groups

Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any changes to the supervising psychiatrist

Participate in case discussions and multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive care

Provide support and education to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions

Engage in continuous professional development to enhance understanding of psychiatric care methods

Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in all patient interactions

Requirements

Medical degree or equivalent with a focus on psychiatry or related field

Understanding of fundamental psychiatric principles and treatment approaches

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective patient engagement

Enthusiasm for learning and working collaboratively in a team environment

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in patient documentation

Active medical license or in progress of obtaining licensure as required by the private healthcare facility
