In this role, you will collaborate with a team of experienced rheumatologists and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients. Responsibilities include diagnosing and managing conditions such as arthritis and autoimmune diseases, while promoting community health and awareness regarding rheumatologic conditions.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments and record detailed medical histories of patients with rheumatic diseases.
Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans under the mentorship of senior rheumatologists.
Order and evaluate diagnostic tests to guide clinical decision-making.
Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, managing expectations, and providing support.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated patient care.
Participate in public health initiatives and awareness programs aimed at improving community health.
Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge in rheumatology.
Requirements
Medical degree with eligibility to practice as a junior specialist rheumatologist in a government healthcare setting.
Completion of a residency program in internal medicine or a related field, with a focus on rheumatology preferred.
Understanding of common rheumatic diseases and contemporary treatment approaches.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and teamwork.
Capability to work efficiently in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Strong organizational skills for patient record management and documentation.
