SearchPlus HR is seeking a motivated junior specialist spine surgeon to join a renowned private sector healthcare facility. This exciting opportunity is ideal for an early-career spine surgeon eager to develop surgical skills and contribute to high-quality patient care within a supportive and innovative environment.
As a junior specialist spine surgeon, you will assist in the diagnosis, surgical treatment, and management of patients with spinal conditions. Under the guidance of senior surgeons, you will participate in a variety of surgical procedures, gaining hands-on experience with both traditional and minimally invasive techniques.
Key responsibilities:
Assist in evaluating and diagnosing spinal disorders.
Support senior surgeons during complex spinal surgeries and perform selected procedures independently as competence develops.
Participate in the development and execution of patient-specific treatment and rehabilitation plans.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families about treatment options and recovery processes.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Engage in ongoing professional development and training in the latest spinal surgery techniques.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
Medical degree (MD or DO) with valid license to practice medicine.
Completion of residency in orthopedic surgery or neurosurgery.
Interest or preliminary experience in spine surgery, with completion or ongoing spinal fellowship preferred.
Basic surgical skills with commitment to learning advanced spinal surgical techniques.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interaction.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
