About you
You will be an experienced primary health care nurse with a current annual practising certificate with proven leadership capability and a passion for improving community health outcomes.
You will:
Have significant experience within the Primary Health Care sector
Have previous nursing leadership experience (essential)
Demonstrate the ability to lead, direct and support nurses to work effectively within their scope of practice to maintain high standards of clinical governance and quality improvement
Have experience developing, implementing and refining clinical processes to support efficient and safe service delivery
Be an independent vaccinator and cervical smear taker
Ideally hold a postgraduate qualification in nursing (or be working towards one)
Understand, or willingness to deepen your understanding of, the Treaty of Waitangi, Te Ao Māori, equity, and cultural competencies
Be flexible, adaptable and thrive in a busy team environment
Be computer literate with experience in PMS systems (Indici preferred) and MS Office
Demonstrate strong time management, organisational and communication skills
