Roles & Responsibilities

Enrolls all confirmed pregnancies into the Oracle/Cerner Pregnancy Tracker and actively contribute to the ongoing optimization, integration, and continuous improvement of the maternity pathway within the electronic medical record system

Supports the coordination and continuity of care for pregnant women in line with the approved maternity pathway.

Ensures that patients receive timely, appropriate, and evidence-based care throughout antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal stages.

Acts as the primary non-clinical/clinical liaison within the maternity pathway.

Educates patients on the full pregnancy roadmap and delivery planning early.

Coordinates appointments, diagnostic tests, referrals, admissions, and follow-up visits across OPD and IP services.

Monitors compliance with scheduled visits, screenings, and maternity milestones.

Facilitates seamless transition between outpatient clinics, labor and delivery, operating theatre (if required), NICU, and postnatal wards.

Proactively coordinates any pregnancy-related clinical and psychosocial triggers and coordinate appropriate multidisciplinary referrals (Dietician, Lactation, Psychologist, Paediatrics, etc.) in partnership with the Obstetrician and relevant care teams to ensure holistic, patient-centered care.

Supports continuity of care by facilitating communication between obstetricians, midwives, neonatologists, anesthetists, general practioner s, lactation consultants, and other allied healthcare professionals.

Participates in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure coordinated care planning.

Escalates clinical or operational concerns to the appropriate leadership in a timely manner.

Ensures documentation and communication are aligned with DHA standards and hospital policies.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum of five (5) years of experience, including experience in coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in maternity, obstetrics, women s health, or care coordination within a hospital setting.

Knowledge of hospital operations, customer service principles, and medical terminology.

Experience in a private tertiary or premium healthcare facility in the UAE or GCC preferred.

Exposure to both OPD and IP maternity services is preferred.

Demonstrated experience in managing patient pathways, scheduling coordination, and multidisciplinary communication.

Proven track record in delivering high patient satisfaction outcomes.
