Key responsibilities / what you do:

Provide case management for complex and/or high cost cases and report to senior management.

Drive cost containment strategy towards the achievement of the targeted loss ratio.

Manage and provide medical support/expertise to tailored services.

Contribute to substantial collaboration across global doctors team.

Ensure best practices of case management in line with globally/internationally recognized and regional protocols.

Assist with the maintenance and expansion of the panel of medical providers in certain regions. This includes the development of financially advantageous contractual relationships with these providers. The emphasis will be upon delivering competitive volume pricing, procedure pricing, package pricing, fixed discounts expressed as a percentage of the final bill, etc., through various cost containment strategies.

Ensure that all existing operating service standards are consistently met and devise strategies to improve these further.

Develop and maintain good working relationships with all departments and support them according to their needs.

Support a team of medical professionals for medical case management.

Quality focus to all aspects of the work.

Any other ad hoc projects and administrative tasks as and when required.

AI readiness

Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analytics and cloud-based tools, using insights responsibly with our standards of data governance, security and ethical use.

Key requirements / what you bring:

Bachelor of Medicine.

3+ years clinical experience.

Insurance sector or assistance experience desirable.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

Strong knowledge on global medical infrastructure.

Strong problem solving and prioritization skills.

Strong analytical skills and ability to report to all levels.

Must be a self-starter and able to multitask.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and influence at all levels.
