Key responsibilities:

Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including detailed medical history and diagnostic tests to determine appropriate cancer diagnoses.

Create and implement individualized treatment plans that align with current clinical guidelines and patient preferences.

Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other treatment modalities while monitoring for efficacy and managing side effects.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care and support to patients and their families.

Engage in clinical trials and remain informed about advancements in the field of oncology.

Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and treatment discussions in the electronic medical record.

Provide ongoing education and emotional support to patients during their treatment journey.

Requirements

M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.

Completion of residency in internal medicine and fellowship training in medical oncology.

Board certification in medical oncology.

At least 3-5 years of clinical experience in oncology.

Strong knowledge of cancer treatment protocols and an understanding of the latest oncology research.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster patient relationships.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Commitment to continuous professional development and education in oncology.

Active medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.

Fluency in English; additional language proficiency is preferred.
