An opportunity has arisen to join the team in Bruar Ward, New Craigs Hospital as a Staff Nurse, RMN. The post holder will work in a High Dependency Rehabilitation ward as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

You should have experience of working within Psychiatric Services, either in-patient or care or in a community setting, together with knowledge of current issues within Mental Health Nursing. The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of excellent recovery focused clinical care within as part of a multidisciplinary care team.

This post is only suitable for Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) however this is open to Newly Qualified Nurses recieving their pin in September.

In addition, a positive attitude, good team working abilities and excellent communication skills are essential.

Additional Information For Candidates

Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
