Marien Hospital Düsseldorf is a modern acute care hospital in the center of Düsseldorf and part of the Catholic Hospital Network Düsseldorf (VKKD). With 461 beds, approximately 71,000 patients are treated annually on an inpatient and outpatient basis. Marien Hospital Düsseldorf is an academic teaching hospital of Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf.

For our short-stay ward, we are looking for a committed nursing specialist (m/f/d) as station manager who directs the workflows on the ward, coordinates the interprofessional team and ensures efficient, patient-oriented care. The ward comprises a surgical and ophthalmological department and is open Monday through Saturday.

Your Tasks

The task includes the professional, organizational and personnel management of the internal medicine ward as well as ensuring high-quality, patient-oriented care.

This includes planning, coordinating and monitoring nursing processes as well as close interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians, therapists and other specialist areas.

Another focus is on shift planning and efficient personnel deployment planning to ensure smooth ward operations.

Equally important are the promotion, guidance and further development of employees as well as the structured integration of new team members.

Additionally, you participate in the further development of nursing and quality standards, in projects and improvement processes as well as in trusting collaboration with the nursing service management and other management levels.
