About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and flexible Clinical Trial Nurse to support a decentralised clinical study focused on liver disease. This is an ad hoc role, ideal for nurses looking for flexible work, with the option to join on a freelance/contract basis or via payroll.

You will conduct patient visits in the community, performing clinical assessments and sample collection while ensuring a high standard of patient care and protocol compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct home or community visits with study participants

Perform venepuncture (blood draws) in line with study protocols

Process samples, including centrifugation

Accurately document patient data and maintain study records

Ensure compliance with clinical trial protocols and GCP standards

Requirements

Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate in New Zealand

Proven experience in venepuncture

Experience using a centrifuge

Ability to work independently and manage ad hoc scheduling

Access to a vehicle and willingness to travel within the Auckland region
