Job Description

As a Registered Nurse at our Summerset Village in Katikati, you will be part of a team that provides quality aged care and creates the best most enjoyable lifestyle to our care centre residents. Our residents are often here for many years, and our approach to care is resident-directed. The ultimate focus is their quality of life.

Typical Duties Include

Managing residents’ everyday needs, from clinical to end-of-life care

Creating and following long term care plans as well as clinical assessments

Taking charge of the care centre on certain shifts and making appropriate clinical decisions

Delivering planned nursing care and evaluate progress in partnership with the resident and their family to enhance their daily lives.

Providing guidance and direction to the caregivers on shift

Building trusted relationships with residents and their families

The shift pattern and hours for this role are 4 days on, 2 days off on a rotating roster, working 60 - 80 hours per fortnight.
