The Role
The Registered Nurse will play a key leadership role as a clinical lead ensuring the highest standards of clinical care are delivered across our services. You'll support and mentor care staff, oversee clinical governance, and work closely with clients and families to ensure care plans are tailored, safe, and effective.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate all clinical aspects of home care services in the Clare region.
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop person-centred care plans.
Provide clinical supervision and support to Care Supervisors and Health Care Assistants.
Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and company policies.
Support recruitment, induction, and ongoing training of care staff.
Participate in the on-call rota as required.
Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, GPs, and external agencies to promote best practice in home care delivery.
Requirements
Registered Nurse with NMBI (active PIN required).
Minimum 2 years post-registration experience, ideally with 1 year in a supervisory role but not essential.
Experience in community, elderly, or home care nursing desirable.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Full, clean driving licence and access to own transport.
