Position: First Aid Station Supervisor – Fixed Term Contract

Location: Doukas School, Athens

We are seeking a caring, organised, and highly professional Nurse – First Aid Station Supervisor to join our school community. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing immediate healthcare and first aid to students, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the school’s First Aid Station.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess students’ health needs and provide immediate nursing care in line with medical guidance.

Provide first aid and coordinate the safe transfer of students to a medical centre when required.

Maintain cleanliness, order, and readiness of the First Aid Station, including equipment and medicine cabinets.

Collect medical certificates and maintain accurate Student Health Records.

Keep detailed logs of clinic visits and communicate promptly with parents/guardians regarding incidents or health concerns.

Support and organise dental and paediatric medical check‑ups for Kindergarten and Primary School students.

Monitor medical supplies and place orders for medicines and consumables as required.

Prepare first‑aid kits and health documentation for school trips, sports events, and extracurricular activities.

Brief teachers and chaperones on students requiring special care or medical attention.

Support Summer Camp activities and accompany children, ensuring their safety and well‑being.

Notify insurance providers of incidents and manage related documentation and receipts.

Requirements:

Nursing degree from a university, technological institution, or certified vocational institute (IEK).

Experience in a healthcare setting or working with children.

Ability to manage emergency situations calmly and professionally.

Strong commitment to confidentiality and data privacy

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in a school setting.

Valid First Aid certification (ideally paediatric).
