Jevnaker care and rehabilitation center (Jors), a business institution, is looking for a nurse.

We work according to safety standards in nursing homes, which means that we want to give our patients a daily life characterized by safety, predictability and dignity. We use KlinObs as a model to ensure clinical observation competence among all our employees.

Jors includes an institution with a total of 47 nursing home beds, divided into 3 departments, 2 departments for dementia patients and a somatic department. The somatic department also includes short-term places for rehabilitation, assessment and palliation, as well as a municipal acute day care place.

Briefly about the position:

100% permanent nursing position. There is a possibility of a lower position percentage if desired.

calendar schedule with working hours day/evening and possibility of long shifts every 4th weekend

Our nursing service is organized with a nurse/caregiver responsible for all shifts. Nurses/caregiver are not included in the basic staffing. All our nurses are included in the scheme

Job duties:

medical and nursing follow-up of our patients

responsibility for professional updating and guidance

facilitate service recipients' experience of joy in life and mastery

collaboration and sharing of expertise across the business and departments

Qualifications:

licensed nurse, preferably with relevant further education

good oral and written communication skills

digital competence

A satisfactory police certificate that is not older than 3 months must be submitted upon appointment.

good knowledge of Norwegian, both spoken and written. Applicants without a Norwegian education must document that they have passed the Norwegian language test level B2 - written and oral

Recruitment grant of NOK 50,000 for nurses who do not already have a permanent, binding employment relationship with the municipality. The grant is paid as a one-off grant after the probationary period, with a commitment period of 1 year after commencement.
