Job :

We are looking for a Nursing Assistant responsible for providing preventive, maintenance, relational, and health education care, in order to preserve and restore the continuity of life, well-being, and autonomy of patients.

Your main tasks will be:

1. Daily

A. Handover of instructions between nursing assistant teams

Breakfast distribution

Provision of care related to patient hygiene and comfort under the functional supervision of the nurse

Assisting with patient dressing.

Position changes under the functional supervision of the nurse

Prevention of bedsores under the functional supervision of the nurse

Making beds and changing sheets under the supervision of the nurse

Changing urine bags, emptying jars, and washing bedpans under the supervision of the nurse

Daily verification of linen inventory under the functional supervision of the head nurse.

B. Participation in stock management of hygiene products (storage + linen management)

C. Waste management: setting up containers, storage, and forecasting

D. Bio-cleaning of surfaces (disinfection of beds + environment)

E. Running errands as much as possible (Linen, pharmacy, BAF, sterilization...)

F. Recording all tasks performed on a computer system

G. Disinfection and storage of all equipment

H. Taking care of the provided equipment

I. Participation in the integration of newly assigned staff to the unit.

2. Weekly

Participation in the unit meeting

In the Operating Room:

1. Patient care in the OR:

Participation in patient transfer and setup in the rooms (operating rooms, PACU) while respecting their safety, comfort, and privacy in a calm environment.

Assisting with patient undressing and checking hygiene to adjust care if needed

2. Linen Management

Preparation of clean sheets and packaging of dirty sheets

Preparation of operating room outfits and clogs

Stocking of personal protective equipment (hairnets, caps, masks, and shoe covers)

3. Hand Hygiene:

Stocking hand washing stations with antiseptic soap, brushes, alcohol-based hand rub

4. Waste Management

Setup of containers and bags for waste

Removal of full, closed containers

5. Bio-cleaning of surfaces

Forecasting supplies of consumable products and materials (detergent-disinfectant products, wipes, mop heads, and bags for dirty linen...)

Preparation and maintenance of the bio-cleaning trolley

Maintenance of the storage room (linen, clogs, outfits, hygiene products)

Bio-cleaning of operating rooms and hand washing basins according to a specific protocol (before the surgical program, between two surgeries, and at the end of the program

Required profile :

- Experience desired: 3 to 5 years
