Role Summary
As a Nursing Expert, you will play a central professional role in the fields of Neurology, Gerontopsychiatry, or General Psychiatry (focusing on Psychosis or Depression/Trauma). You will integrate current nursing science findings, further develop evidence-based standards, and advise nursing teams in complex situations to promote high-quality care and professionalization.
Your Responsibilities
Quality Assurance: Ensuring continuously improved nursing quality.
Process Management: Implementing care based on the nursing process and evidence-based decisions within a primary nursing system.
Clinical Practice: Direct patient and family care, especially in highly complex cases.
Guidance & Training: Systematic counseling, instruction, and training for nurses, patients, and relatives.
Scientific Foundation: Establishing scientifically sound, sustainable, and effective nursing practices.
Authority: Providing professional nursing advice with the authority to issue instructions regarding direct patient care to nursing staff.
Strategic Input: Co-responsibility for the professional nursing direction of the ward.
Requirements
Qualifications: Professional qualification as a Nurse (Pflegefachmann/-frau, Health and Pediatric Nurse, or Geriatric Nurse) AND a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with a focus on Clinical Expertise, Nursing Science, or Advanced Practice Nursing (APN).
Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience in a relevant field (full-time equivalent); this may potentially be achieved through a trainee phase.
Skills: Sound specialist knowledge for independent action; patient- and family-oriented mindset; strong interest in interdisciplinary teamwork.
