Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct initial patient assessments and triage to prioritize care based on medical needs and urgency.
Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed, while monitoring for adverse reactions.
Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
Educate patients and families on treatment protocols, medication management, and preventive health measures.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Assist in minor surgical procedures by preparing instruments and ensuring a sterile environment.
Manage patient flow within the OPD to enhance efficiency and minimize wait times.
Perform routine diagnostic tests, such as blood pressure checks and blood draws, ensuring proper technique and safety.
Respond to patient inquiries and provide emotional support, fostering a compassionate care environment.
Stay updated on medical advancements and participate in continuous professional development to enhance nursing skills.
Desired Candidate Profile
Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
At least 2 years of experience in outpatient care or a similar clinical setting, demonstrating relevant expertise.
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in documentation practices.
Fluent in English; proficiency in a second language is a plus, facilitating communication with diverse patient populations.
Strong clinical assessment skills, with the ability to make quick, informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy in medication administration and patient documentation.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the outpatient department.
Physical stamina to assist patients with mobility and perform tasks that may require standing for extended periods.
